Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s Mustang RTR Spec 5 Available for Everyone

Vaughn Gittin Jr. celebrated a decade of seeing his vehicular visions coming to life with RTR Vehicles by releasing a 10th Anniversary Edition of his top-tier Mustang model, the Spec 5. Now Mustang RTR is opening the door to Spec 5 upgrades to a much wider audience.

“I am pumped for the official launch of the Mustang RTR Spec 5. Up until now Spec 5’s have been a halo vehicle that have been reserved for special projects and racing initiatives only,” Vaughn said with the 10th Anniversary Spec 5 was announced. “It is going be wild seeing these impressive and fun RTRs on the street in all their glory! I can’t wait to see the smiles on the owner's faces!”

RTR Vehicles now offers its top-of-the-lineMustang RTR Spec 5 to a broader audience via its Built by RTR program, by which the company can customize vehicles from the current model or prior model years.

Initially, the 10th Anniversary Spec 5 package, available from select RTR Vehicles dealers, was the only way to acquire the top-of-the-line Mustang RTR. Now Mustang owners can elevate their cars to Spec 5 status via the company’s Built by RTR program. RTR Vehicles or an authorized RTR Vehicles upfitter can install the upgrades.

“Each part has been engineered to improve the overall look, functionality, and performance of the already superior Mustang,” says the company. “All Spec 5 components have been track-tested and validated by a professional driver and Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr.”

As the highest performing Mustang RTR, theSpec 5 is treated to the full complement of Ready To Rock upgrades, including these RTR Tech 7 forged, two-piece wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 rubber.

Among those upgrades (see sidebar for fulllist) the Mustang RTR Spec 5 features a 750HP Whipple Supercharger System, RTR Widebody Fender Flares, RTR Tech7 forged wheels, and more. For more on the Spec 5 or the Built by RTR program, check out the RTR Vehicles website here.
