Saleen’s 2024 302 White Label Mustang delivers 510 ponies in an aerodynamic package

The 2024 302 White Label Mustang wears and tunnel-tested aero dynamics, including a new front fascia fitted with an aerodynamic splitter and air dam. It carries a base manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $61,990. The axial grille provides an accent to the front of the car, while the hood vent releases heat and pressure from the engine compartment.

Tuning might be a challenge with the latest Mustangs, but that isn’t slowing down Saleen Automotive, which recently debuted its 510-horsepower, entry-level S650 at the Lemay Automobile Museum in Tacoma, Washington. The 2024 302 White Label Mustang combines a boost in power with Saleen’s signature styling honed for improved aerodynamics.

“We continue to evolve our popular Saleen 302 line,” Steve Saleen said. “I’m thrilled to announce that our naturally aspirated, entry-level White Label now puts out 510 horsepower! With handling and braking to match, all I can say is that you must drive one of our 302s to fully appreciate how well-balanced these vehicles are on the street and track.”

As expected, the White Label wears a Saleen front fascia with an axial grille and front splitter paired with the high-downforce air dam. Those pieces are balanced by downforce applied by the Saleen rear wing, while the company’s hood vent releases underhood pressure and heat.

“This 302 White Label (2024) is the most comprehensive design ever for our 302 White Label. There is a lot to like about the new S650 platform, ”Saleen added. “Much has been said about this model, and we addressed it. We are quite proud of the end result.”

Of course, if 500 horsepower isn’t enough, Saleen also offers its 745-horsepower Yellow Label, and its top-tier, 800-horsepower Black Label.

Probably the coolest upgrades on the Saleen White Label are on the inside, where Saleen customized the interior with accent stitching and an upholstered Saleen instrument binnacle for the signature dual-screen human-machine interface screens. It also benefits from a matching functional passenger grab handle.
The White Label puts its 510 horsepower to the pavement with the company’s Gen 5 Racecraft suspension. Its Saleen rear wing helps balance the downforce.
