If there is one thing Mustang fans love, it is customization. Whether adding aftermarket bits to their cars or ordering special editions from the factory, owning a pony car with a little extra pizazz is the name of the game.
For 2022, Ford is offering two new options that add style and performance to existing Mustang packages.
“Since 1965, Mustang has been synonymous with performance and play, and the 2022 model year continues that call with the new Stealth Edition and an updated Cali Special,” Jim Owens, Mustang brand marketing manager, said. “Mustang owners have always loved personalizing their ride, and these new flavors of Mustang are ready to inspire and excite new enthusiasts.”
The newest arrival on the Mustang order sheet is the Stealth Edition Appearance Package, which adds a number of ebony accents along with the clear LED tail lamp covers from Mustang Ice White Edition to the Mustang EcoBoost Premium. Along with the clear taillights, the package includes 19-inch, Ebony Black-painted aluminum wheels, black pony badges, a performance rear wing, and black mirror caps. The cockpit is accented by a matte and gloss black instrument panel badge and lighted sill plates.
“The black accents really give the car a whole new persona, sinister and sporty all at once,” Owens added. “Naturally, the package needed the right name. Stealth Edition says it all.”
