The 13th annual Foxtoberfest, hosted by Foxey Events, was a roaring success with over 800 Foxbody Mustangs registered, creating a paradise for enthusiasts of these iconic cars. As always, the show did not disappoint, with a dazzling array of customized and original Mustangs gracing the grounds. Among the standouts was the Retro Stangs display, featuring three impressive Mustangs owned by Stuart Earp, Darel Clark, and Richard Easterwood—each car showcasing unique retro charm that made them a focal point of the show.
One of the highlights of this year’s event was the presence of the legendary Steve Saleen, who was on hand to sign autographs. Saleen’s appearance added extra flair to the festival, especially with a stunning lineup of Saleen Mustangs—each car a testimony to the iconic tuner’s legacy. It was a rare treat to see so many Saleen models in one place, creating a dream scenario for fans of these high-performance machines. 72 foxbody Salleens were in attendance beating the previous record of 39.
The Five0 Asylum display was another show-stopping attraction, featuring some of the most heavily modified and eye-catching Foxbody Mustangs on the scene. This group has undoubtedly pushed the boundaries of what can be achieved with the classic Foxbody platform, making it a highlight of the show for many visitors.
Held every October in Concord, NC, Foxtoberfest is more than just a car show—it’s a week-long celebration of all things Foxbody. This year’s lineup of events included cruises, open houses, drag racing, burnout contests, and lively night parties, ensuring there was something for everyone. It’s a festival that perfectly captures the spirit of the Mustang community, drawing enthusiasts from all over to revel in a shared passion.
For event founder Jenn, this year’s Foxtoberfest was particularly special. Her Mustang coupe, affectionately known as “Peaches”—a former Georgia State Police cruiser—underwent a full restoration led by Vinnie Allegretta of VA Motorsports and Carl Melendez of 631 Coatings. The project was a community effort, with several sponsors coming together to bring “Peaches” back to life, including: • LMR • UPR • Mikey Siddons at A&B Upholstery • Baer Brakes • Carter’s Customs • ClassicLEDs • FFP Customs • Fiddlefart Fabrication • FoxLox • Fox Mustang Restoration • Kannapolis Engine • KDezines • Maker’s Garage • NewRad Solutions (Instrument Cluster) • Steeda • Sinis Built • Stifflers • 417Fox This remarkable build added a personal touch to the event, celebrating not just the cars but the community that keeps the Mustang hobby thriving.
Foxtoberfest continues to grow each year, setting the bar higher and cementing itself as a must-attend event for any Foxbody enthusiast. If you haven’t experienced it yet, mark your calendar for next October—this festival promises to deliver adrenaline, camaraderie, and some of the most spectacular Mustangs you’ll ever see.
