“I never thought we’d present a check with that many zeros on it,” Neve, who initially set out to raise $10,000 back in 2010, told local Wisconsin TV station WSAW.
Readers know that we have highlighted the efforts of Dan Neve and his charity, Cruise for a Cause before. Inspired to raise money for cancer research, he began touring the country in his Shelby to raise money. That evolved into the creation of HOPE Edition Mustangs that he raffles off to raise money for charities that are near and dear to his heart. This year his efforts generated the most money thus far.
“Today turned out to be one of the best days of the year. Today we presented our donation to the Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation to support cancer research,” Dan said on social media on December 20, 2021. “Between this and the one to the UW, we were able to contribute with the help of so many of you — $200,000. I am extremely grateful to all of you who have supported my mission and Cruise for a Cause these past 11 years. Thank you all and Merry Christmas and to the Happiest of New Years! I look forward to seeing you in 2022”
